The Faculty of Chemistry and Geosciences at Vilnius University is organizing for the third time the national scientific conference “Chemistry and Geosciences 2026”, aimed at presenting the latest scientific research and commemorating the centenary of the establishment of the Geographical departments at Vilnius University.

TIME AND PLACE:

Time: March 20, 2026, 9:00 a.m.

Place: Institute of Chemistry, Faculty of Chemistry and Geosciences, Vilnius University (24 Naugarduko St.), Inorganic Chemistry audithorium (Room 141).

CONFERENCE PROGRAM:

Oral presentation sessions. In three invited lecture sessions, the latest scientific research will be presented.

Poster session. Members of the academic community from all institutions across Lithuania are invited to participate. Contributions from students, PhD students, and early-career researchers are especially welcome. The best poster presentations will be awarded. 

Publication. Abstracts of the conference presentations will be published in the conference proceedings.

REGISTRATION:

Register by clicking this link. All conference participants must register, regardless of whether you are presenting an oral or a poster presentation. Registration is extended until March 3rd. Indicate whether you plan to prepare a poster presentation as the main author. If yes, please upload a file containing the abstract, prepared according to the requirements, for the conference proceedings during registration.

The maximum dimensions for a poster presentation are 60×90 cm.
